The Robeline Heritage Society will meet on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 5:30 p.m. Come join us as we prepare for another great festival. We are currently getting our parade line up ready and vendors ready. If you’re interested in being a vendor or in the main or children’s parade please contact me at 318-354-7019. We’re also looking for contestants in Robeline’s Got Talent and the corn hole tournament. We will also have a scavenger hunt on Saturday of the festival, the 1st clue will be given at the stage area in the park at 10 a.m.

The Los Adaes Foundation will also have a monthly meeting on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Old Methodist Church. Everyone is invited to come help preserve this historical part of our community.

The Foundation would also like to thank Wayne Walker of Walker Tree Services for being so wonderful to volunteer to remove one dying tree completely and trim another tree back off of the church as it had grown onto the roof and was causing damage.
