An NPJ reader confirmed through conversations with representatives of both Sally’s Beauty Supply and Goodwill that their stores in Natchitoches are scheduled to close in the coming months. Sally’s Beauty Supply plans to close its doors on November 15, while Goodwill is expected to close in December, with what the NPJ has been told, are hopes to reopen at a new location in the future.
Meanwhile, speculation continues about the possibility of a Natchitoches location for the well-known Nichol’s store, though no official announcement has been made.
In other business news, Pinocchio’s Italian Restaurant recently announced its closure, and the Cane River Soap Company celebrated a ribbon cutting for its new Front Street location. Additionally, Troy’s Butcher Shop has announced the opening of a new location on University Parkway.
