Tennessee Gas Pipeline, a Kinder Morgan company, has announced that scheduled maintenance activities will take place in the Oak Grove area of Natchitoches Parish beginning Monday, Oct. 20.

The company advises that residents and businesses in the surrounding areas may experience intermittent loud noises during the maintenance period, which is expected to continue throughout the week. Officials said the work is part of routine efforts to ensure the continued safe and reliable operation of the pipeline system.

While every effort will be made to minimize disruption, the company is alerting the public in advance as a precaution. Appropriate authorities have been notified.
