Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office recognizes Criminal Records Office

Sheriff Stuart Wright and the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office proudly recognize and express sincere gratitude to the dedicated members of the Criminal Records Office in honor of National Police Records Appreciation Day.

Each year, Law Enforcement Criminal Records Personnel Appreciation Week is observed during the second week of November to acknowledge the critical, behind-the-scenes contributions of the civilian professionals who support law enforcement operations. Their work ensures accuracy, organization, and efficiency, allowing deputies and investigators to remain focused on serving and protecting our communities.

The Criminal Records Office plays a vital role in daily operations, including:
• Managing and processing police reports, accident reports, and public records requests
• Conducting local background checks and processing bonds and criminal subpoenas
• Maintaining state and federal crime statistics
• Handling specialized administrative and technical tasks
• Organizing information and providing essential support that keeps operations running smoothly

Sheriff Wright extends his heartfelt appreciation to the Criminal Records Office for their professionalism, integrity, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Their efforts are an essential component of the Sheriff’s Office mission and greatly enhance the quality of service provided to the citizens of Natchitoches Parish.
