“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas,” is the theme for the Krewe of The 9’s 2025 Christmas Toy Drive. The second annual kick-off for the drive was on November 16 at Legacy Cafe.’ The drive will run until noon on December 13. Parents interested in toys for their children must contact the Natchitoches Area Jaycees organization-regarding the registration and distribution process.
Over 165 toys were donated during the kick-off activity. Community partners working with the krewe include: Legacy Cafe,’ Natchitoches Leadership Through Athletics Committee (NLTAC) , Emanuel Temple Lodge #141, Bridges by Gabrielle, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Jack and Jill of America, Inc. (Red River Chapter), Ben D. Johnson LLC and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Tuesday to Saturday-8am to 3pm, toys can be dropped-off at Legacy Cafe,’ 441 North Street.
