A structure fire was reported on Dec. 4 around 3:30 pm in the 1500 block of La. Hwy. 485 near Allen, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s deputies and multiple units from Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District No. 7 responded to the scene, where they found the residence fully engulfed in flames upon arrival.

Deputies reported that the home was believed to be vacant at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters worked to contain the blaze as additional details remained limited. Deputy A. Middleton responded on behalf of the NPSO.
