Natchitoches Central’s Team earned fifth place among Louisiana schools competing in the team division of the 24th Annual McGrath Math Competition at LSMSA.
The event brought together middle-grade students for a full day of problem-solving and teamwork. Open to those who have not yet taken Algebra II, the competition tests algebraic reasoning, geometric understanding, and applied logic. Natchitoches Central’s Team performed strongly in the team round, placing them among the top groups statewide.
LSMSA student volunteers, faculty, staff, and administrators helped facilitate the competition through registration, grading, and organizational support.
