Natchitoches Regional Medical Center has recognized Karla Rider, Nurse Manager in the Surgery Department, as its newest Guardian Angel, honoring her steady leadership and dedication during a particularly challenging period for her team.
Rider was nominated by colleagues who praised her resilience, calm demeanor, and unwavering support for staff. Team members noted that her guidance made a significant difference during a difficult time and that her commitment to patient care and departmental leadership did not go unnoticed.
The Guardian Angel program celebrates exceptional caregivers and staff members who go above and beyond in service to patients and colleagues. Nominations may be submitted by patients, families, or coworkers who have witnessed outstanding care and include a contribution to the NRMC Foundation in honor of the caregiver.
