Natchitoches Regional Medical Center recognized Marie Woodel, Medical Lab Scientist, as its latest Guardian Angel for exceptional service and dedication.
Woodel was nominated by a colleague who praised her professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment during a demanding weekend shift. While working independently in the lab, she ensured critical testing was completed promptly and results were delivered without delay, supporting both patients and care teams.
The NRMC Guardian Angel program honors caregivers who go above and beyond, including doctors, nurses, lab professionals, aides, and therapists. Nominations are submitted by patients, families, and colleagues and include a contribution to the NRMC Foundation in honor of the caregiver.
