Natchitoches Regional Medical Center has recognized Dr. Timothy Collins, an emergency room staff physician, as its newest Guardian Angel, honoring his commitment to compassionate patient care.
Dr. Collins was nominated by a fellow associate who highlighted his dedication and ability to provide attentive, respectful care in the fast-paced emergency department setting. Hospital officials noted his consistent efforts to listen to patients, communicate clearly, and ensure individuals feel heard during difficult moments.
The Guardian Angel program recognizes exceptional caregivers across the medical center, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff, who go above and beyond in their roles. Nominations are submitted by patients, families, and colleagues and include a contribution to the NRMC Foundation in honor of the selected caregiver.
Hospital leaders say the recognition reflects Dr. Collins’ commitment to delivering both clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
