The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches gathered April 2 for its weekly meeting, bringing together members for fellowship, games and recognition of standout contributions.
The meeting featured a lighthearted atmosphere, with members enjoying food from Flying Heart Brewing while participating in games organized by Brittany Barton. Activities such as a plastic egg passing game added to the morning’s fun and camaraderie.
During the meeting, the club welcomed its newest member, Chief John Wynn, who was officially inducted into the organization. Members expressed excitement about his addition and the role he will play in supporting both the club and the broader community.
The club also recognized Mike Stewart as Kiwanian of the Month, highlighting his active involvement since joining just over two months ago. Club members noted his commitment to volunteering, supporting events and helping recruit new members, including Chief Wynn.
Officials said the meeting reflected the group’s ongoing focus on service, leadership and community engagement, while also providing an opportunity for members to connect and build relationships.
