During National Library Week there will be a library scavenger hunt. Patrons can obtain the form for the scavenger hunt at the circulation desk. Patrons can also participate in the library staff Who’s Who challenge.
Upon completion of the scavenger hunt and Who’s Who challenge, the patrons name will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a chance to win a Samsung tablet donated by the Friends of the Natchitoches Library, LLC.
First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. All types of libraries – school, public, academic and special – participate.
