Kilcoyne was selected based on teaching and training experience in business communication, evidence of positive student evaluations, conference presentations, publications and related research and letters of recommendation. In addition to a plaque, Kilcoyne received a cash award, which she donated to her children’s scholarship, the Brooke and Clay Hennigan Endowed Scholarship at Northwestern State, which is awarded to a business student.
In addition, several members of the Northwestern State University School of Business faculty attended the conference, including Dr. Begona Perez-Mira, Dr. Julie McDonald, Dr. Carmella Parker, Dr. Marcia Hardy, Sarah Wright, Curtis Penrod and Eddie Horton who presented papers and made presentation were made at the Association of Business Information Systems, Association for Business Communication-Southwestern United States, Southwest Academy of Management and Decision Sciences Institute Southwest Region.
Hardy also served as a chair for the Southwest Academy of Management – Organizational.
