NPD Arrests School’s Assistant Principal On Incident Involving A Teacher

On February 10, 2015 a female teacher at the Frankie Ray Jackson Sr. Technical Center reported to the school’s resource officer that a battery had been committed upon her by the school’s Asst. Principal, Hugo Vogel. Further investigation into the incident revealed that the teacher had been struck with a paddle on the buttocks by Asst. Principal Vogel.

The incident in-question was later turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) of the Natchitoches Police Department. Further investigation of the incident led investigators to secure a warrant for the arrest of Hugo Vogel. On April 13, 2015 investigators went out to the Frankie Ray Jackson Sr. Technical Center and arrested; Hugo Sherman Vogel, 302 Pine Cave, Goldonna, LA., sixty-four (64) years of age for a violation of LA R.S. 14:35 Simple Battery. Mr. Vogel was later released on a Three Hundred Three Dollar ($303.00) Bond.
