NPSO Deputies arrest Natchitoches man in connection with Criminal Sexual Conduct

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a Natchitoches man in connection with inappropriate sexual behavior with a juvenile female according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Office.

The investigation began Sunday afternoon May 10th at approximately 5:48pm, when the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from the parent’s of a juvenile female reporting that their daughter had been touched inappropriately in an alleged sexual manner while in the Allen Dam community in the 200 block of La. Hwy  1227 in Natchitoches Parish.

Deputies responded to the scene and learned during the investigation that a juvenile female had been allegedly touched improperly by an adult male.

Deputies transported a suspect in the case to the NPSO Criminal Investigations Division for interview purposes.

Detectives assigned to the NPSO Criminal Investigations Division also responded to assist.

During the investigaton, detectives established sufficient evidence and probable cause to obtain a criminal arrest warrant signed by a Tenth Judicial District Court Judge.

Deputies arrested:

Kenneth Harold Worsham, 55, of the 200 block of La. Hwy 1227, Natchitoches, La., transported and booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center charged with 1-count of Sexual Battery.

Other charges are pending as the investigation continues.

Worsham remains in the Natchitoches Detention Center awaiting bond.

The victim’s name and age are not being released.
