On Saturday morning May 9th at approximately 10:44am, Deputies assigned to the NPSO Criminal Patrol Unit stopped a Jeep Cherokee in 3900 block of Patrick Road near Natchitoches.
Deputies identified the driver of the vehicle as Mark Anthony Bynog, 48, of Natchitoches, La.
During the traffic stop, deputies observed an open alcoholic beverage container in the vehicle and observed that Bynog’s coordination appeared to be impaired.
Deputies asked Bynog to perform a series of field sobriety tests in which he performed unsatisfactorily.
During a search of Bynog’s person incidential to his arrest, deputies seized suspected hydrocodone pills.
Deputies arrested:
Mark Anthony Bynog, 48, of the 100 block of Sisson Loop, Natchitoches, La. was transported and booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center charged with DWI 3rd Offense, Possession of CDS Schedule III Narcotics, Driving under Suspension, Improper Equipment, and Open Container.
Bynog refused to submit for the Chemical Test for Intoxication.
He remains in the Natchitoches Detention Center awaiting bond.
