NPSO Detectives arrest Juvenile Male in connection with alleged Rape in west Natchitoches Parish

JuvenilleNatchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Detectives have arrested a 15 year old Natchitoches Parish juvenile male in connection with an alleged rape in west Natchitoches Parish on Thursday evening according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

On Thursday evening May 15th at approximately 9:21pm, Deputies assigned to the NPSO Patrol Division responded to two reported disturbances in the Flora-Vowells Mill area of west Natchitoches Parish.

During the initial stages of the disturbance investigation, deputies learned that a female juvenile was allegedly raped while visiting a friend’s residence in an undisclosed location in west Natchitoches Parish.

Deputies were able to identify a juvenile male suspect and transported him to the NPSO Criminal Investigations Division for interview purposes.

Detectives assigned to the NPSO Criminal Investigations Division responded to assist in the investigation.

Detectives say during the interview, they obtained sufficient evidence and probable cause to obtain a criminal arrest warrant signed by a Tenth Judicial District Court Judge for the juvenile’s arrest.

As a result, deputies arrested:

15 year old Robeline male juvenile, was charged with Forcible Rape by NPSO Detectives and transported to the Ware Juvenile Center near Coushatta, La. pending a juvenile hearing in the 10th Judicial District Court.

The victim who’s name is not being released was treated at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center and released.

Sheriff Jones says the investigation is currently continuing.
