The Natchitoches Central High School Fishing Teams (NCHS Fishing Team) traveled to Florence, Alabama’s Pickwick  Lake this week to participate in the Student Angler Federation (SAF) – High School Fishing High School Fishing World Finals.

NCHS Fishing Teams were:
1st Team: Reagan Maxey and Dylan Poche’
2nd Team: Brenton Lester and Landon Mitchell
3rd Team: Garrett O’bannon and Taylor Israel

All three of the NCHS Fishing Teams fished on in the pre-fishing. The 1st Team qualified to advanced to the Semi-finals on Friday. The 2nd Team and 3rd Team fished in the Second Chance Round on Friday.

Reagan Maxey and Dylan Poche’ placed 10th out of 40 places on Friday’s weigh-in advancing them both to the High School Fishing World Finals today.

NCHS Sr’s Reagan Maxey and Dylan Poche’ place 17th in the final round of the SAF world Series today in  Florence,AL out of 21 boats that finished. WI 5/5 – 8,15.
