Natchitoches Parish President Rick Nowlin announces that two sections of the Allen-Marthaville Road have been closed to traffic, due to flooding.
The first section is located between the Brandon Cotton Road and Durr School Road, and the second is located between the Durr School Road and Lake Cemetery Road.
The Natchitoches Parish Highway Department will monitor these sections and will re-open them once conditions allow.
Citizens are cautioned to not travel through any flooded area on Parish roads because of unseen hazards that may be present.
