Faculty Trombone Quartet to perform Wednesday

The NSU Faculty Trombone Quartet will present its debut recital, Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.

The quartet consists of Northwestern State faculty members Matt Petty, Andrew Eden, Dr. J. Mark Thompson and Dr. Masahito Kuroda.

The program will include works primarily from the 20th century, including sacred, traditional and pop selections.  Original works for trombone quartet include pieces by Kazimierz Serocki, Patrick McCarty and Eugène Bozza.
