According to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor Jones Jr., this evening at approximately 7:30pm, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Detectives with a criminal arrest warrant signed by a Tenth Judicial District Court Judge arrested Andrew Jacob Wallace, 18, of the 4700 block of La. Hwy 3278, Natchitoches, La. for 2nd Degree Murder in connection with the stabbing death of Dylan Kyle Poche.

Wallace was arrested Saturday night on probation violation charges by NPSO Deputies shortly after investigation began and has since been held in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center without bond.

Sheriff Jones said detectives have been actively involved in the investigation since Saturday night, interviewing potential witnesses and gathering evidence for a strong case.

On Monday afternoon, detectives recovered a “critical piece of evidence” near the crime scene.

Additional information will be released during a press conference held at the NPSO Criminal Investigations on Tuesday afternoon February 2nd at 1:30pm.
