Northwestern State University Fishing team members Johnny Ledet and Justin Cooper finished 23rd out of 55 teams in the FLW Colligate National Championship on Lake Keowee in Seneca, South Carolina, last week. To qualify for the tournament, the two had to make the top 15 cut at regionals and the top 10 cut at the conference tournament. Beating over 800 other college teams, the two earned a place as one of the top teams in the country. The team is supported by several local business sponsors, Coach Juddy Hamous and the NSU Alumni Association.
