Lisa Babin, CEO/President of the Hall of Fame Foundation, turned in her resignation July 7, effective July 22. She accepted a job in the public sector in Shreveport, where she lives. She is excited about the opportunity, which offers a decrease in her travel requirements.
“Lisa poured a lot of energy and passion into the Sports Hall of Fame Foundation since we hired her in 2010,” said Doug Ireland, chairman of the Hall of Fame. “She was always a quality representative of our interests and someone who helped advance our profile and helped define the foundation board, which is now a fully functioning group of business leaders who represent all corners of the state. The board is invested in broadening the identity of the museum going into the future.”
The Board is beginning the search to replace her.
