The Holiday Inn in Downtown Alexandria announced its official partnership with Maison Louisiane Catering & Events. Chef Ben Fidelak, owner of Maison Louisiane Catering in Natchitoches, will execute all large event catering at the new luxury hotel.
The Holiday Inn was recently painstakingly restored by the Southern Hospitality Group. President Jay Sharplin said, “We are extremely excited about this new venture with Maison Louisiane Catering and the level of experience and professionalism they can provide. This partnership will enable us to bring large scale events to the city of Alexandria that previously could not be executed.”
Maison Louisiane Catering is owned and operated by Chef Ben and his wife Keri, a professional event planner with over 25 years experience in large market formats. Chef Ben’s passion for cooking began at an early age while working as a line cook in his father’srestaurant. His skills were honed years later when he opened Maison Louisiane Catering in the fall of 2001 after attending culinary school in New Orleans. His culinary focus is to create signature dishes using inspiration from various cultures while infusing a Southern flair, true to the historic roots of Louisiana cuisine.
