Les Amies Service Organization members set up a tent outside of Walmart Saturday, Aug. 10 for their fundraiser, Pack the Bus. They collected various classroom, teaching and cleaning supplies to donate to Natchitoches Parish schools for the new academic year.

Natchitoches Regional Medical Center donated Germ-X and various community members helped fill the collections buggy with school supplies.

Les Amies donated items, such as paper towels, notebooks and pens, to the Frankie Ray Jackson Junior High School, L.P. Vaughn Elementary and Middle School, Natchitoches Central High School, East Natchitoches Elementary and Middle School, M.R. Weaver Elementary School, Provencal Elementary and Junior High School, Magnet and St. Mary’s.
