Natchitoches Regional Medical Center hosted a reception and dedication ceremony to honor those physicians with 25 years of active service on the hospital medical staff. Those recognized were: William Zeichner, Bryan Picou, Otis Barnum, Archie Brezeale, Christa Rodriguez, William Pierson (Doris James, granddaughter), Margaret Wheat-Carter, Cissy Picou, Oscar Bienvenu (Marion, wife), Roy Cook (Mary Squires, daughter) and James Knecht. Also honored were: Drs. Joseph Bath, Ira Campbell, Charlie Cook, James Kaufman, Edna McLeod, John Sandifer, Rueben Sanford Roy, Robert Sills, Joseph Thomas, Reginald Wheat, Wilhelmina Wise, Eleanor Worsley.

The custom made Legacy Tree, has a leaf to commemorate each physician and is located in the lobby of the Keyser Avenue Entrance.
