Proceeds will benefit the Natchitoches Central Lady Chiefs Softball Program. Because of the flood last year the team lost a lot of equipment. This was not covered by insurance. The biggest loss was a pitching machine. Funds raised from this 5K will go toward purchasing a new pitching machine.

$25 gift certificates will be awarded to the first male and female runners over 18 and the first male and female runners under 18.

The race will start at the Downtown Riverbank, go up the ramp, across the downtown bridge, onto Williams Avenue, down Salter and East Fifth to St. Clair, continue up St. Clair to Williams, across downtown bridge, continue down Front Street to ramp and end at Riverbank stage.
