Madison Vercher, center, of Natchitoches is the 2016 recipient of a scholarship created by the Natchitoches Jaycees, which is presented to a first year freshman from Natchitoches Parish attending Northwestern State University. Vercher is a graduate of Natchitoches Central High School majoring in criminal justice. She is the daughter Craig and Denise Vercher.
