The Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors. Nominations are being taken via a web form at NatchitochesChamber.com, simply scroll down to fill out a short nomination form. Nominees can be nominated by their selves, or by fellow businesspersons. Those wishing to nominate must do so before close of business Thursday, Sept. 22.

Board members serve three year terms and generally meet once a month with some additional time obligations. To be eligible, a person must not have been on the Board within the past three years and must work for or represent a member in good standing of the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce. A nominating committee will vet the list and present a slate to the Chamber Board in September; once approved by the Board, the slate will go to membership for ratification.

The slate will be approved during the October Board meeting.
