The Parish of Natchitoches Highway Department is soliciting applications for full-time employment as Assistant Highway Director.
Under the general direction of the Director of Public Works, the primary duties will consist of directing, coordinating, and reviewing the construction, repair, and maintenance of parish roads, bridges, and drainage works.
Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with a Bachelor of Science degree preferred plus a minimum of three years progressively responsible experience in the construction, repair and maintenance of roads, bridges and drainage works or related field, including substantial supervisory experience or a minimum of ten years of responsible experience in the construction, repair and maintenance of roads, bridges and drainage works or related field, including substantial supervisory experience. Other applicants may be considered based on their unique qualifications.
