Natchitoches Parish Fire District 4 visited Provencal Elementary School to teach students about having an escape plan from their homes in the event of a fire. FD 4 encourages parents to talk with their children and make a plan so that everyone gets out. It’s also important to have a designated meeting spot outside. Check the smoke detectors in the home and make sure they work. Overall, make sure to be fire safe.
