A meeting will be held at the Riverfront Stage in downtown Natchitoches Thursday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. to honor law enforcement, firemen, and first responders from communities throughout Natchitoches Parish.

The event will be free and open to the public, and will be sponsored by American Legion Gordon Peters Post 10 and Veterans of Foreign Wars J. C. Keyser Post 1962.

All Natchitoches Parish citizens are invited and encouraged to gather in appreciation and support for the selfless individuals who, through either career choice or volunteerism, provide services and protection for the residents of this parish.
