The Natchitoches Humane Society participated in the Paws in Paradise event at Margaritaville in Bossier City on October 2, 2016. The Society took six dogs available for adoption, and were blessed with the adoption of Mary that day and Tater and Reno being adopted this week by a man who had seen them at the event. The day was filled with interaction between rescue groups and their rescues, a costume contest, drawings, food and excitement over potential adoptions. Members of the Humane Society were very pleased with the results of the afternoon at Margaritaville and look forward to attending again next year.
