The Saint Augustine Historical Society recognized its three newest board members: Mary Jones, Anastasia Christophe and Gail Jones. All three bring a legacy of service, history, and heritage to the Society. They will help the mission of preserving the history and heritage of Isle Brevelle’s faith community centered around St. Augustine Catholic Church.
The Board fulfills major responsibilities outlined in SAHS bylaws. The nonprofit remains in good standing with 501c3 IRS tax-exempt status.
“I am very proud and excited to have them join the team of board members committed to preserving our history and our heritage, said Board President Harlan Mark Guidry.
