The Natchitoches Parish Library’s Staff Christmas Party was rockin’ as employees strut their fashion on the runway. The group decided to hold an ugly sweater contest at the party as opposed to the usual Dirty Santa gift exchange. They donated toys to a Christmas collection instead of giving gifts to each other.
The venue also changed this year as Payne Williams, owner of the Samuel Guy House, invited them to use the first floor of the bed and breakfast for their party. Previously, the large group had celebrated Christmas snugly packed into Joe and Theresa’s one bedroom home. Joe works at the library and Theresa runs the bed and breakfast. The Samuel Guy House gave the staff plenty of room to dance down the runway, eat and share in the joy of the season. Alan Niette, Tamara Anthony and Deborah Ransom won the ugly sweater contest.
