Head Start students channel Wizard of Oz as part of Multicultural Week

The classes at MLK Head Start celebrated Multicultural Week Jan. 30- Feb. 3. The theme was “Where in the United States am I?” Each class selected a state to elaborate on and a parade took place. Mrs. K. Smith and Mrs. S. Smith’s class elaborated on Kansas. So the students channeled the Wizard of Oz and dressed as munchkins, while Mrs. K. Smith dressed as Dorothy and Mrs. S. Smith dressed as the wicked witch.
