NPSO DEPUTIES ARREST NATCHITOCHES WOMAN FOR ISSUING WORTHLESS CHECKS; ALSO BANK FRAUD SUSPECT

A Natchitoches woman sought by the Natchitoches Parish District Attorney’s Office on outstanding criminal warrants for issuing worthless checks to a Natchitoches business was arrested by Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Danyelle Lewis, 42, of the 1500 block of Mandell Street was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center Feb. 10 at 12:31 p.m. for 9-counts of Issuing Worthless Checks in the amount of $1,205 to a Natchitoches business.

Following the arrest, deputies ran a NCIC wanted person check on Lewis learning she was wanted by Natchitoches Police for Bank Fraud.

Lewis was arrested at her Natchitoches residence without incident.

Lewis is awaiting bond.
