The Natchitoches Convention and Visitors Bureau hosted several Mississippi River Country (MRC) travel writers from Japan as part of the Mississippi River Country FAM Tour March 28. Upon arriving to Natchitoches, the group joined Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Arlene Gould and Marketing and Communications Coordinator Stephanie Rabb for a tour of Melrose Plantation. Writers learned about the Downtown Historic District during a walking tour provided by Logan Schlatre from the Cane River National Heritage Area. After lunch the group toured the Grand Ecore Visitor Center before departing for Vicksburg, Miss.
