Kiwanis gets a sneak peak at NSU’s Summer Dinner Theatre Production

The cast for “Nunsense II,” a Summer Dinner Theatre production at Northwestern State University, performed a few numbers for the Kiwanis Club June 1.

NSU will present “Nunsense II” June 14-17 and 21-24 on the A.A. Fredericks Auditorium stage. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner is served at 6 p.m. Tickets are $30 which includes a meal with soup, salad, entrée’, dessert, tea and coffee and the show. “Nunsense II: The Second Coming” is the sequel to the international hit “Nunsense.” You can’t keep a good nun, let alone an entire stagestruck convent down.  The Little Sisters of Hoboken are back on the stage at Mt. Saint Helen’s School six weeks after we last saw them, presenting a “thank you” show for all of the people that have supported them in the past.  “Nunsense II” features book, music and lyrics by Dan Goggin. Pia Wyatt is the director and Michael Rorex is musical director.

The cast for “Nunsense II” includes Grace Brumfield and Rosa Campbell of Baton Rouge, Emily Ricalde of New Orleans, Payton Hartwick of Edmond, Oklahoma and Cassidy Giddens of Shreveport.
