State Police Troop G worked an 18-Wheeler wreck Thursday afternoon. It occurred when the truck hauling a bulldozer was just north of US 71 at Highway 514 in the Crossroads area.

Fire Chief Shane Felts and the Red River Parish Sheriff’s Office both confirm it was a single vehicle accident. The wreck occurred about 1:00 pm when the truck left the roadway and overturned. Life Air was called the airlift the patient to a hospital.
