On Friday evening at approximately 11:05pm, Deputies assigned to the NPSO Patrol Division were flagged down in the City Limits of Campti by Mrs. Donna Franklin-Nash.
Mrs. Franklin-Nash reported to deputies that she received a call reporting that her home was on fire.

Deputies accompanied Mrs. Franklin-Nash to the residence located in the 200 block of Dan Williams Road near Creston, La. finding the residence burned and a total loss.

Natchitoches Parish Fire District #2 also responded to the scene.

Deputies say the cause of the fire is currently unknown and it appears that the mobile home burned earlier during the day.
