Dazzle Dance Center team members traveled to Biloxi, Miss. on June 11-14 and won many awards including seven Grand National Championships. The dancers attended NYLA Dance Competitions and Conventions for their national dance competition and convention. All the dancers participated in the convention and took classes each morning in contemporary and musical theater. At the grand showcase they performed in the opening number to show off what they learned in their classes.

In the afternoons dancers competed with their competition dances. All 22 of the team’s dances made it to the Top 10 Round of Competition and then 18 moved forward to the Top 5 Round of Competition. All 22 dances received Platinum rating, which is the highest rating, 6 out of 10 Judges’ Awards, four Title Winners, two Most Photogenic Winners, New York Award, NYLA Award, Costume Award, and seven Grand National Championships.

Come congratulate them and celebrate National Dance Day on July 29 from 1-5 pm at Dazzle Dance Center. This day will include a showcase of the Grand National Champions at 1pm and FREE dance classes all afternoon.
