Attendees at the 2017 LA Sports Hall of Fame Induction Block Party Friday, June, 23 got an extra treat. Northwestern State University alumna and 2008 NSU Lady of the Bracelet, Mandi Ridgdell, performed with the WWII Museum’s Victory Belle musical group as part of the evening’s festivities.

Ridgdell graduated from NSU in 2009 with a degree in theater with a concentration in musical theater. She has been a member of the WWII Museum’s Victory Belles, a trio of singers who tour around the world performing songs from the WWII era, for the past 8 years. She was one of the founding members of the group.

The Natchitoches Parish Journal would like to take this opportunity to wish Mandi all the best in her musical career. It is always a pleasure to see NSU graduates doing well in their lives.
