CRNHA is seeking a Heritage Ranger II to provide interpretation of Cane River National Heritage Area history and culture and conduct outreach to community partners and visitors through a wide range of projects and special events.
This full-time position requires flexibility in work schedule; may require Saturday hours. Duties include hands-on instruction, site management and serving as a walking tour guide. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree plus experience in one of the following fields: anthropology, history, theater, economic development, community development, heritage resource management or planning. In addition, they must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, creativity and results‑oriented, goal-driven performance. Background or experience with informal education programs is preferred.
