Rho Beta Omega makes an impact at NJH-FJH

The Natchitoches graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Rho Beta Omega) celebrated Community Impact Day by restoring, refreshing, and renewing community playgrounds in the area. Natchitoches Junior High- Frankie Ray Jackson was rewarded with newly painted basketball lines on the school’s court and a clean playground.

“We have established a relationship with NJH-FRJ for many of years now. Members of our chapter have worked at NJH-FRJ and some are currently still there,” Tiffany Roque said. “The school is still trying to rebuild after their reopen last school year.” Principal, Edwin Mason joined the group to show a strong bond with the community and its education.
