
Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, Louisiana Probation and Parole Agents, and NMJDTF Agents arrested a Campti man on felony drug and weapon charges, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Natchitoches Office of State Probation and Parole agents contacted NPSO Deputies July 27 at 2:30 pm requesting assistance while they conducted a probation compliance visit of the Shaundray Lewis residence located in the 100 block of Robieu Street, Apt# 11 in Campti.
Lewis was on felony probation due to a prior felony conviction.
A search of the apartment led to the seizure of (40) suspected ecstasy pills, approximately 3-grams of suspected methamphetamine, eights bags of suspected synthetic marijuana, digital weighing scales, baggies commonly used to store illegal narcotics for street sales, a Smith & Wesson 9mm semi-automatic handgun with extended magazine (reported stolen from the Monroe Drive area near Natchitoches in 2012) and a Raven Arms .25 caliber handgun.
Three children ranging in ages from 2-8 inside the residence were released to a relative.
Deputies arrested:
Shaundray Lewis, 25, who was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center and charged with Possession of CDS I Synthetic Marijuana (Mojo) with Intent to Distribute, Possession of CDS I Ecstasy with Intent to Distribute, Possession of CDS Schedule II Methamphetamine, Illegal Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Person convicted of a Felony, Illegal Possession of Firearms during a Felony Narcotics Offense, Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances in the Presence of Persons under the Age of 17, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
State Probation and Parole has also added a Probation Violation.
Lewis remains in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
Involved in the arrests were: State Probation and Parole Agents assisted by Deputies assigned to NPSO Patrol Shift “A”, Sheriff’s Detectives and NMJDTF Agents.
