In its 2017 Regular Legislative Session, the Louisiana Legislature passed Act 413 to provide a remedy to homeowners, including those in Natchitoches Parish, who were negatively affected by the “caps,” or maximum limit on the amount of credits that could be issued, imposed on the solar tax credit in 2015. Recently, LDR issued an information bulletin to provide guidance to homeowners who have an interest in claiming the solar tax credit, as well as answers to Frequently Asked Questions about Act 413.
