The Natchitoches Christmas Angels Pageant isn’t just about the crown and the sash, according to volunteer organizer Amber Howell. It’s about the community service.

Howell spoke to the Natchitoches Lions Club at its meeting Aug. 21.

“During their reign it’s crucial for them to understand the importance of giving back to the community.”

The 25th Annual Natchitoches Christmas Angels Pageant will be held on Sunday, September 10th at 2p.m., in the Magale Recital Hall at Northwestern State University. Entry Fee is $60 per child, with a $10 discount per additional child. The pageant is open to all young ladies that live in Natchitoches parish or surrounding areas. Including: Rapides, Grant, Red River, Bienville, Sabine, Winn, De Soto, and Vernon. All contestants must be enrolled in Pre-kindergarten (4yrs)-Sixth Grade and Seventh and Eighth Grade.

The Deadline to compete in the Natchitoches Christmas Angels Pageant is Wednesday August 27th. All Entries with payment must be submitted, dropped off or mailed to Natchitoches Christmas Angels: 311 St. Maurice Lane, Big Tease Salon: 114c South Drive, Velocity Quick Care: 307 Keyser Avenue.

Admission to the 25th Annual Natchitoches Christmas Angels Pageant will be $3 for adults and $1 for children under the age of 12, including parents of contestants.
