  1. Why is the City so interested in spending millions on the river bank, another limited use recreation area adjacent to an existing rec area (NSU) when city water pipes are bursting all over town, stop signs are obliterated by bushes all over tow n, litter is everywhere, and cops are eating donuts while the downtowns bridge is jammed with traffic early on weekdays with people going to school and work. Huh, Mr. Mayor?????????Where are you? You listening?????Election coming??????Quit postering and put police at the ends of the downtown bridge from 7:40 to 8:20 a.m. Show some mettle!

    • Same reason NOLA spends money to remove statues and not fix the pumps! Just to please a very very few ppl common ppl don’t have a voice anymore!

  2. Would like to know who’s job it is to over see these types of road repairs. Even if it is the budget of the state or city someone is responsible. They seem to just find out about the repairs now. Some heads need to roll, can’t do your job, most people would be fired for allowing such catastrophic things to happen. Who ever it is gets their paycheck, beneifts and so on, but has no responsibility to see the needs of our town, I guess they will do something now huh. Pretty sad to see this continue to happen in our little town
