School board members present at a Special Called Meeting Aug. 31 unanimously voted to appoint Katrina Wilson-Willis to the vacant spot left by her mother, the late Joella Wilson-Collins. Emile Metoyer made the motion and Steven Harris seconded it. Willis will hold the position until the March 24 election. She will be sworn in at the Sept. 5 meeting.

Amen…I agree that it’s a blessing and also an honor to put the late…Mrs. Joella Wilson’s daughter Katrina into her N.P.S.B. school board position, I think this is s great decision!!!
